Trying out the new HVAC service plan at the company work orders

The cooling industry is constantly changing, and for the better.

  • Now and then, the industry releases material to assist cooling representatives provide services efficiently and for customers to understand the system.

Just toward the end of last month, the industry officials released the new HVAC service plan to be adopted by every local business. We would customize the plan where it suits us and our HVAC technicians’ jobs. Last week was the first time we used the newly created program. We were called to a shopping mall to check on the malfunctioning heat pump. We noticed the system was in bad condition when we got there. It seems the owners had not cared for the commercial system like they hopefully did their residential HVAC system. We started by examining the quality air conditioner. I then had the cooling technicians run a comprehensive HVAC maintenance on it. The tune-up revealed that the unit had damaged components that needed replacing. It was a zone HVAC system which meant multiple digital thermostats. The new plan dictated we check every thermostat and other systems within the home. The customer had an indoor air cleaning system to promote air quality within the home. We showed the customer how to wash the air filters on his own. The plan tried to include the professional and the customer. I also noticed that the program included different HVAC brands, with the common brands appearing on each page. The verdict I had on the new plan was that it was more inclusive and detailed. It was ideal for the new employees as they understood the processes better. The new program has our seal of approval.
