My air conditioning is nearing the end of its life plus needs to be updated soon

I think our air conditioning system is struggling when it is too sizzling outside.

You might be asking why do I know this? It’s because when the temperature is above 95 degrees, it makes a weird sound. But when the temperature is normal, like it was a few afternoons ago, the machine sounds fine. I am not sure if I need to be worried, so I reached out to our HVAC worker for some advice. He asked me if the machine was cooling our house, plus I told him that everything was working fine. The only thing that I am noticing is the noise that is coming from the condenser machine outside. He assured me that the condenser is good as those units are built to withstand intense weather conditions. Perhaps he’s right because I do live in an area where every one of us are prone to storms, lighting strikes, plus intense heat, plus the condenser has been good thus far through all of that. However, what if this time he’s not correct? What if there is something wrong with the unit? Anyway, after our conversation, I sincerely didn’t know at ease plus believed that I needed a minute opinion. If this was a brand current unit, I would entirely not think twice about it, but our machine is about 17 years aged plus near the end of its life; Luckily, 1 of our friend’s is married to an HVAC worker, plus he was able to inspect the machine for me. Basically, he said that I will need to update our HVAC sooner than later. He said that everything is working as efficiently as can be for a machine this old. So, I assume our proper HVAC worker was correct, but I would rather be safe than sorry.
