A Visit to the Local Business to Say Bye to my Friend

I’ve made some great friends here while living overseas and I am going to miss them when I go back to the states.

But I also have some equally good friends, and family in my hometown, so leaving here is going to be bittersweet.

I want to stop by the HVAC company and say goodbye to the old man HEPA filter salesman because he is quite old and who knows if he’ll be here when I return next month. I’m going to stay home in the states for about a month and while I am there I am going to get both of my Covid vaccines because it will be a lot easier to do than here. I may do some HVAC repair jobs when I’m home for a little extra money because my good friend owns an HVAC business and always welcomes me to help him with repair and tune-up jobs. I can probably make a couple thousand dollars just helping him a few hours a week on residential jobs. He also has a nice work van with good air conditioning that he loans me while I am there as I don’t have a car anymore. I haven’t really driven since I’ve been here but at least my driver’s license is good for another few months. I’m so happy not to own a car anymore! I don’t have to worry about air conditioning repair or oil changes and I save a ton of money not having to pay car insurance, which I rarely ever needed even when I was driving.
