I now have a HEPA filter which eliminates more than 99 percent of all indoor contaminants

I just was completely aloof when it came to the issue of indoor air quality.

Having been raised and lived all my life inside a big city, pollution was always something I dealt with each day.

Yet, residing in a dwelling building with radiant heating and window a/c, I was quite ignorant about indoor air quality. This is yet another thing I’m finding out. And this particular learning curve comes as a first time homeowner. There is just a lot to learn for sure. Honestly, this is the first time I’ve ever lived inside central cooling. So there was much to learn there. But the local Heating, Ventilation and A/C workers have been awesome about all of that. I had to replace the Heating, Ventilation and AC system when I first bought this house. So I got many tips about residing with and in central a/c. In fact, that’s where the topic of indoor air quality was first broached. I got to learn that just because I now live in a rural section basically free of air pollution, I’m not free of indoor air contaminants. From pet dander, pollen and even the chemicals that leach from the carpet and furniture. My respiratory system is under attack. And to promote fantastic health and immune response, I needed to make some fluctuations. I now have a HEPA filter which traps and removes more than 99 percent of all indoor contaminants. It’s been such a learning curve. But soon, I am going for a whole home air purification system that will provide the cleanest and best indoor air quality possible.
