Happy Sunday from the heating business

It has been a really slow winter and some of the stores had to shut their doors for good from a lack of income

Today I am working for a few hours in the shop, finishing up some paperwork and doing some cleaning in the showroom. I am grateful to have such a good job with a bunch of nice people, and hopefully this will last me six more years and then I can go down to part time and reap some of my SS benefits from years of working as an engineer in the Valley. I am going to collect at 62 because who knows how long those benefits will be around for, and who knows how long I’ll be around! Radiant heated floors are the thing for the day, as the temp outside is really cold, warranting some good heating in the flat for my cold feet. We are just about done with winter and I can finally turn off the heat and relax for a few months and not have to worry about high power bills till the end of June. This is when my air conditioning will start to run again, cooling down my flat and all of the animals inside it. Today is Sunday and there will probably be a flock of people at the beach when I go for my morning bike ride. It is nice that the beaches are packed again because the local businesses really need some money, especially the HVAC business where I work during the weekdays. It has been a really slow winter and some of the stores had to shut their doors for good from a lack of income. My heating supplier looks like they will stay afloat though.
