I have to work extra to afford a new car

She would rather spend my savings overtime to a great employee than spend my savings regular time to someone that wastes her time.

If I want to get a newer car, I am going to have to work a lot of overtime. Thankfully, it’s Summer and I can work up to 60 hours every week if I need to. Summer is the busiest time of the year for an AC service business. I’ve been an AC service tech for the last 10 years or so. I have not gotten a new car since I 1st started the task. I had my old car assessed by a garage and they claim it is worth 1,000 bucks. That means I have to come up with an additional $4,400 before I can afford the car of my dreams. It’s a bit fancy and will require a hefty down payment. Thanks to my great credit score, after the Hefty down payment, my bi-weekly payments will be low and reasonable. I’ve been hitting it hard 6 days a week for a while, even though I told my boss that I am ready to add the third afternoon. My boss doesn’t mind paying overtime if we work hard. She would rather spend my savings overtime to a great employee than spend my savings regular time to someone that wastes her time. I suppose it will take 5 more weeks to receive enough money for the down payment as long as I keep working 7 days each week. I know it sounds like I have a lot to handle and a really heavy work schedule, however all of that difficult work is going to spend my savings off big when I drive that brand new Mustang home at the end of the afternoon. My friends will be so envious and jealous. I cannot wait to see the looks on their faces.
